We found Blacks catering from one of our team who had used him before for a similar event. We have now used them for a number of occasions over the last 3 years and have always found them to be excellent. The chef is very helpful with menu selections and has always thrown in a few surprise touches. The staff have always been smart and professional and always know exactly what they are serving from complex canapes to traditional desserts, they seem to really enjoy what they are doing and always leave the venues as they have found them which is a great bonus. The food has ranged from canape evenings, a cheese and wine tasting event for parents, board meeting buffets and sit down dinner events. All have been exceptional in quality and diversity, we would recommend Blacks catering to anyone and will continue to use them for any future events.

We discovered Blacks catering at a christmas dinner party of a friend last year. The food was simply exceptional for a home dinner party and following this, I used them for my daughters 18th birthday sunday lunch. Again, the service was to a high standard and everything went smoothly with even an amuse bouche thrown in which we were not expecting! First class.

Stephen and his team were a delight to work with for our special celebration dinner for 8 at home. The menu suggestions were very well constructed and the food quality and presentation truly excellent and appreciated by all our guests (including amongst them 2 chefs!). Service before and during was terrific - and what a relief to not face the ‘clean-up’ regime afterwards. All in all a great experience, we will be using Stephen again and have already recommended him strongly to many friends in the area.

We used Stephen and his staff for a barbeque we had in May this year. It was reassuring to have several communications with Stephen as he put us at ease and really knew what he was talking about when it came to menu suggestions etc. The burgers were completely home made and were simply the best we’ve ever had, he used water buffalo amongst other things which was different! Stephen was the chef throughout the evening and even had a true authentic australian helper for the occasion. They really provided a fun atmosphere and the bread was to die for (all home made by Stephen). Can’t wait for our next event. thly with even an amuse bouche thrown in which we were not expecting! First class.
